The JCS Rebrand: A Fresh Look, Same Heart
In January of 2025 we will be embarking on a brand new polished and professional rebrand. This is something we've been wanting to begin for a while now. We will be working with the incredible Jessica Dalli from Jess Doodles in Melbourne. Jess has over 15 years experience working as a graphic designer for an array of businesses. Jess has a very unique design for her client portfolio's which grabbed our attention immediately. Our new visual identity will:
- Reflect the ethos of quality, sustainability, and mindfulness.
- Incorporate minimalist, unique, fun designs that enhance the aesthetic of any space.
- Strengthen our commitment to creating products that inspire joy and self-care.
While our look is evolving, our dedication to crafting exceptional candles remains steadfast. Our rebrand is about aligning our external presence with the passion and care poured into every product.
New Jesmonite Jars for Signature Candles
You may have heard, our beloved Birthday Cake and You Matter candles are receiving an upgrade! Starting in 2025, these bestsellers will be housed in handcrafted Jesmonite jars as we say goodbye to glass jars. My collection of Jesmonite jars has grown JCS into what it is today and I must say, that you all love seeing us create our candle jars on our Instagram page. They will be:

Our Top 5 Candle Care Tips
We’re not just about selling candles; we want you to enjoy them to their fullest. Here are some tips to make the most of your candles:
1. Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This prevents excessive soot, ensures a clean burn, and extends the life of your candle.
2. First Burn Matters
Let the wax melt evenly across the surface during the first burn. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even melt pool every time.
3. Safety First
Always place your candle on a heat resistant surface, away from flammable materials, and never leave it unattended while lit.
4. Reuse Your Jars
Not only are our jars refillable, they are perfect for storage. Once you clean out the jar, (see our how to here) you can repurpose it as a planter, storage container, or use it as a decorative piece.
5. Size Matters
For a stronger scent throw, it's important to place your candle in a room or area with minimal drafts and making sure the room or space is the right size for the candle.
